BODY OF WORK

Year 8 at NGG International School are learning how to make accurate figure drawings. We’ve chosen to mix classical drawing skills, understanding anatomy and photography with a more lively ‘crime scene’ approach. This coming week will see us returning to the classical method of ‘sighting’ the model with an outstretched arm, a trained eye and a (sharp) pencil as the gauge.

The following stage of this project will be livened up by the students using photography to capture sporting images. These photos will be used to create a collection of artworks with sport and movement as the pivotal theme.
