In The Picture

Sixth grade art and design students at NGG International school in Denmark, made an inspirational visit to our local gallery –  Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
As the school year draws to a close, our final project is a photographic one. Culminating in an exhibition of student work at the beginning of the new term, where they strive to capture the essence of our little school – in black and white.

We’d come seeking inspiration from an exhibition of huge images by the reknown Canadian photographer,  Jeff Wall.

Students were invited to interact with the massive illuminated images

Next week in art class, sixth grade students will compose and record their own images of our school. Watch this space to see their creative responses.
